Fat Is Wacker to Appear on the Food Network ??

FIW competitor Frank P., a Miami native and pork aficionado, will appear tomorrow on the Food Network’s Throwdown with Bobby Flay. A few weeks ago in Miami, Flay surprised the inventors of La Caja China, a sort of speedy pig roaster, and challenged them to a who’s-the-better-pork-roaster competition. Frank is a very close friend of the inventors of La Caja China and attended the Throwdown. The show airs tomorrow at 10pm EST on the FoodNetwork.

We are planning to have a pork roast, El Cubano Gordo style, with the Caja China in Central Park at the end of the FIW competition. We’ll also be weighing in then—before we eat, of course.
