Every day I'm shuffling!

Music. It can make or break a workout. It’s proven to help you run faster and has even been referred to as the only ”legal drug” in sports.

Again, I’m sure there’s an app for that to find tunes that maximize your time on the treadmill. I’m non-technical and don’t even have any music on my phone so I rely on my Britney Spears Channel on Pandora. Still, nothing beats a playlist with the best music for you to work out to. I realize this is extremely subjective. My recent high-speed jams have been Rock Party Anthem by LMFAO, Take it Off by Ke$ha, and to be painstakingly specific, the Benny Benassi Radio Edit of Katy Perry’s E.T. Apparently, what I lack in ability to ever fit into size 4 pants I make up for in terrible taste in music.

Anyway, I encourage everyone to make a playlist they love and it will make time doing exercise even better.

What are your favorite workout songs?

ok - don't laugh - but these songs have the right tempo to get me moving fast when I'm walking:
The Cup of Life (Ricky Martin)
Dandole (Omega) - racy latin song haha
Domino - Jessie J
Gloria - Laura Branigan
Imma Be - Black Eyed Peas
Rock that Body - Black Eyed Pea
Stereo Love

Mary--I LOVE Cup of Life! I mean, so much so that hijacking the DJ booth at 3am and playing the CD single I had with me (this was 1998) got me thrown out of a bar here in NYC. And Ricky Martin in general is just awesome. Thanks for sharing!
