hmmm... very suspicious for our usual leaders to be non-reporters this week. What's up with that?
Marcelo & Ian! Nice job. What are you doing?
I clearly need help. Not sure what did me in, maybe the Elephant Ear at the youth fair last week, but something sort of clicked "off". I haven't been working out. Been getting "C"s or "D"s based on Sandy's daily report card concept. Blah.
Mary, I definitely want to be a cool person, so here is my comment: We need to exercise (and no I'm not even officially participating). I think it was Sandy's lovely husband who asked me this weekend why the heck I couldn't find time to work out even 2 times for 30 minutes each week. I had no answer!
@ Mary... we are back, kind of! I had surgery last wk to replace my pacemaker/ defibrillator so it's kind of been chaotic around here. Sorry to drop out for a bit but hopefully next wk I can start slowly working out again and getting back to my routine. Apparently the only thing I crave while in recovery is grilled cheese and nothing else and activity is not allowed for two wks so well see how that goes for ECG, yikes!!!!
@La Cubana Gordo - great... now I feel so guilty!! I thought you guys were laying low b/c you were dropping crazy lbs. and didn't want anyone to know! lol Glad to hear everything went well with your surgery. Grilled cheeeeesssee... yummmmmm.....
We're a group of friends trying to lose some of the added pounds we've accumulated over the past year. This isn't the first time weight has crept up on us.
In 2007 we began a four-month-long competition to see who would be the first to lose their spare tire.
In 2008 we followed it up with a second contest that included a triathlon.
The 2009 contest began on January 1 and includes an updated fitness challenge. To read the rules and see a list of participants click here
It's 2010, a new year and fresh holiday pounds to lose.

I started doing that Juice thing for some of my meals. Mean Green juice is quite yummy despite smelling like grass. It tastes like Apple Celery juice.
In addition, i started working out like crazy this week but it hasn't done much to my weight... YET lol
I'm going for the 10 hour challenge to get Sandy's bonus points too.
